MEET THE DESIGNER
Libby O’Brien is an esteemed designer working with clients spanning the United States including the Northeast, Colorado, Florida, and the Midwest. Libby completed her design degree at Fairfield University and is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers
She specializes in working with clients across all phases of a project process. Some clients are looking for guidance with the concept phase through completion, while others are looking for advice and suggestions. A successful project is a satisfied and happy client.
What is design? Many people think it is the simple act of selecting a paint color or a fabric for a chair. Design is about viewing the space from a holistic perspective; form and function are the foundations of any good design. Whether renovating or building a new structure, the basis of good design begins with the client vision and designer collaboration, before the plans are drawn.
Libby O’Brien works intimately with her clients on flow, layout, utility of the space as it is used, family size, and location to maximize aesthetic and spatial elements.
